I jumped into my career head-first, 4yrs prior to my peers and as green as a spring sapling. While attending a technical school, I worked as an Interior Design Assistant under a local designer for a custom builder and architecture firm. My experience there catapulted my passion and taught me more than I imagined possible. From custom homes to multi-residential condos and commercial spaces, I was hooked. I finished school at Savannah College of Art & Design having already worked in the field while simultaneously starting my own business.

After SCAD, I opened my first retail space which highlighted my loves: interior design, art, sculpture, and meeting clients needs. I ended up adding a jewelry + home goods line that took my work internationally and drove home my desire to create timeless legacy pieces, capable of being passed to the next generation.

Today, I’ve been working as a designer for almost 20 years, designing home decor, restaurant spaces, mountain homes, international jewelry lines, downtown condos, and window displays for commercial retail shops. Creating an environment is what I do, and I do so to the best of my abilities as I believe it brings joy to my Creator. I believe stewarding our gifts with excellence is vital so it’s natural to give it my all.

But enough about me, I want to learn more about you. I want to hear about your space, your design needs and learn how I can give you my all while transforming your space into a haven that reflects the people, personalities, and souls of your family. How can a family with little ones sustainably have a beautiful home? It’s easy to create a Pinterest space, but what about a liveable space? One that is up to the challenge of actual life: sparkling with spills, pets, parties, and more. What heirloom piece have you lost your love for? Let’s talk over coffee and see how we can create together.

A bit about me…

I’m the wife of an incredibly talented musician, mum to four little ones, and a multidisciplinary designer in the North Carolina countryside.

As a designer, I’m deeply aware of the gift I’ve been given in deciphering a visual someone is attempting to communicate, then turning it into a well-designed reality. How musicians are often able to see in music, I’m able to visually construct/reconstruct spaces in my head, almost like a mental photoshop. But more than that, I’m able to hear what someone is trying to communicate and give it life.

I’m passionate about creating a space that my clients walk into and feel at home, even when it’s their first time seeing it in person. A space is more than windows, light fixtures, and chairs; it’s the essence of a space that must be harnessed. Reviving the soul of someone’s home or space is such a joy for me.

Design is the method of putting form and content together. Design, just as art, has multiple definitions, there is no single definition. Design can be art. Design can be aesthetics. Design is so simple, that’s why it is so complicated.
